Program Start Date: Tuesday, 16 July 2019

A two-month training program on how to trade financial products in the financial markets will be offered at the Pan-African Institute for Development, West Africa (PAID-WA) in Buea. The program includes a (i) theory, (ii) practice and a (iii) Live trading session.

Prospective traders will learn to trade financial products namely forex (i.e. EUR/USD), cryptocurrencies (i.e. XPR/USD), energies (i.e. Brent oil), shares (i.e. AAPL), market indices (i.e. NASDAQ), agricultural commodities (i.e. cocoa), precious metals (i.e. XAU/USD), bonds (i.e. 10-year U.S. Treasury note Futures) and more, with the aim of making a profit off of their individual trades.

The course fee is 250,000 FCFA, and upon completion of the 1st month of the program, prospective traders will have received sufficient training on how to make profitable trades that exceed their investment amount.

Tools Needed:

Personal laptop (compulsory), internet access, notepad and pen.

Qualifications and Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Studies).
  • It is recommended that trainees have a good understanding of business concepts.
  • No professional experience required.

Job Type:

While the financial markets are open 24 hours per day, from Monday to Friday, it is ultimately up to each trader to administer how much time s/he wishes to trade. Therefore, trading may be a full-time or part-time activity.
