Truck Driver

 

Location Douala

 

Mission of the post:

 

Ensure the operation and maintenance of trucks, as well as the safety of the goods contained therein and the people on board.

Job activities:

 

Before each trip, check the operating condition (cleaning, washing) of the truck;

Know how to perform basic mechanics;

Report any dysfunctions observed to the hierarchy as soon as possible

Control the loading and unloading of goods in the truck;

Check the conformity of the on-board and transport documents

Check the conformity of the delivery;

Knowing how to follow and execute the instructions given

Have a good knowledge of delivery routes

KNOW  :

 

Hold a category D driving license  ;

Hold a BEPC followed by professional experience of at least 2 years for similar activities.

EXPERTISE  :

 

Know the highway code;

Know the safety rules for goods and people;

Know the modalities of loading and unloading of goods;

Know the safety rules for people in terms of transport and apply them (compulsory wearing of PPE, etc.)

KNOW-BEING:

 

Team work ;

Know how to manage your time, your itinerary and respect the schedules

Autonomous ;

Reactive;

Have good interpersonal skills
