The Oroko Entrepreneurship Award is an award instituted by Tata Malle Peter Malle a bonafide Oroko native and alumnus of Harvard University and London School of Economics. The award is aimed at encouraging entrepreneurship among the Oroko People.
In its maiden edition of 2019, Makonjo Media is one of the laureates among other great works of entrepreneurship from the Oroko People.
The Makonjo Web Design Apprenticeship Program entails hands-on-training to enable the apprentice to learn the intricacies of building websites and running a Web Design business. The apprentice will learn about the various operations of running a web design company including; branding, choosing a market segment, identifying clients, writing proposals, closing deals, delivering value to clients, and business administration.
The Makonjo Web Design Apprenticeship Program - Sponsored by Oroko Entrepreneurship Awards is open to any of the following Oroko originals (at least one of the parents must be from Oroko) with the following characteristics:
Clear interest in technology
Has at least an A'Level or equivalent
Owns a laptop computer and have internet access
Understand computer and internet basics
A fast learner
Independent, entrepreneurial and driven
