Responsibilities

· Lead a team of 4+ Software Engineers who design, write, ship, and motivate the creation of products to help your peers easily diagnose live site issues

· Mentor and help others grow in their career

· Communicate and collaborate with partner teams across Azure Storage and beyond to ensure our business objectives are met

· Experiment with and recommend new technologies that simplify and improve the tech stack

 

Basic Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience being a people manager

· 5+ years of software design, data structures, testing, debugging, and full-stack development experience

· DevOps

· Experience in OOP and functional programming (C/C++, C#, Java, Rust, or other)

· Mainstream front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)

· BS/BA in Computer Science or related field

· Experience with supporting production deployed systems

 

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python)

· Experience in data architecture

· Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)

· Experience developing distributed systems

· Experience with multi-threaded programming

· Proven track record of forming, mentoring, and growing strong engineering teams

· Strong verbal and written communication skills
