SOLEVO is a leading distributor of chemicals and inputs for specific industrial and agricultural segments in Africa. SOLEVO assists African farmers and industries succeed by providing them with a full range of fertilizers, seeds, crop protection products and industrial chemicals they need with a guaranteed quality and good value.

We are currently looking for our subsidiary in Cameroon two Sales Representatives.

 

 

MISSIONS:

 

  • Drive growth & sustainable value creation for the segment, through an entrepreneurial mindset;
  • To have a perfect understanding of the value creation concept: Δvalue (CM x 4–Receivables –Inventories);
  • Understanding the industrial structure of the market;
  • Participate to transfer market presence into value creation by driving price, volume, receivables and inventories;
  • Participate in building a pipeline of opportunities (segments & products) that will drive the success of Solevo on the long term in the region and underbuilt these with a business plan.

 

 

RESPONSABILITIES:

 

  • Customer Management: Develop, optimize, and manage your customer portfolio in your segment. Follow up on financial capability (receivables, credit terms, financial statements) and their reach.
  • Supply and Inventory Management: Ensure actual and plan future volume through the S&OP cycle based on forecasted sales;
  • Business Development: business plans for new customers;
  • Competition: Map, assess and understand what competition is doing in Cameroon & define actions to counter competitions’ positions / actions;
  • Financials: strict credit policy and receivables management.

 

PROFILE:

 

  • Master’s in economics or management or equivalent (additional degree in Agri-Food is a plus);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales;
  • English at a professional level.

 

COMPETENCES:

 

  • Knowledge of the country’s industrial market and agri-food applications/ Water treatment environment;
  • Familiar with the local players of the industry;
  • Knowledge of the global agri-food players;
  • Customer and results driven;
  • Networking and business Insights;
  • Entrepreneurial mind set;
  • Deep understanding of sales techniques;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Business Development skills;
  • Proactivity, rigor and integrity.
