Responsibilities

–          Implementation and follow-up of directional drilling database, based on

1. *** Oil & Gas Directional survey manual
2. Engineering Software ( Sysdrill ) database as part of Drilling Corporate recommendations based on Memo Ref # APS-7060 written by *** dated March 16th, 2009.

–          Capitalization of directional drilling experience   Transfer of knowledge from Contractor to Operator.

–          QA/QC aspects on all BHA elements, including regular audits within directional drilling / M-LWD supplier base.

–          Regular site visits to optimize drilling parameters so as to maximize cost efficiency of expensive new technology downhole tools selected for   developement.

General

Supervise Directional Drilling service company job and Drill bit selection to optimize drilling performance.

Set and review Directional drilling contract.

Follow and discussion of the presented invoice to match in place contract.

HSE

Ensure good Directional Service company participation for the safety on site and in their town base according to Directional Drilling service company and *** rules.

Planning

Inform Directional Drilling service company of the planed wells to be sure that tools and qualified personnel will be available on time. Follow tools and personnel movement.

Educational Requirements

BSc in Engineering.

Experience Requirements

Good experience as Directional Driller with motor and Rotary Steerable System  in horizontal drilling. Management of the logistic and planning  ( Ex *** coordinator )   Contract negotiations.

 

Additional Requirements

Good Knowledge on directional drilling latest technologies, Anti-collision and contract management.   Motor, RSS directional drilling job , Directional drilling and usual software. Ability to keep good communication with the Directional Drilling service   company  management  and coordinator  to ensure good relationship in order to obtain the best service .
