Job Title: Marketing Intern

Number of Interns needed: 2 (two)

Department: TINA Education

Length of contract: 1 month

Location: Yaoundé

Start Date: 1 November 2021

 

TINA Education publishing house is seeking marketing interns to bolster its in-store and online book sales using effective marketing methods. TINA Education is a publisher of educative books for adults and children across all levels of Education. An understanding of the educational and book publishing system in Cameroon will be a plus.

 

 

Core Role: To assist in the management of marketing operations under supervision

 

Responsibilities:

·      Collaborate on developing a marketing plan for the sales of TINA books in-store and online

·      Promote TINA books throughout the national territory by prospecting to schools and individuals both onsite and online

·      Promote the book by submitting content for both print and online announcements

·      Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

·      Perform market analysis and research on competition

·      Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

·      Assist team members with the creation of content for social media platforms

·      Help distribute marketing materials

·      Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)

 

 

Requirements:

·      Degree in Marketing or similar relevant field

·      In depth understanding of different marketing techniques

·      Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

·      Hands on experience with marketing computer software (e.g. CRM tools)

·      Excellent organizational and time management skills

·      An eye for detail along with critical thinking

·      Prioritizing and multitasking
