For its needs for expansion and outsourcing of its activities, the company DJEMO BTP is recruiting:

LOGISTICS MANAGER

Placed under the supervision of the Director of Africa Logistics & Transport , his main missions are:

Responsibility1 - logistics

  • Make logistic activity reports;
  • Ensure the implementation and monitoring of performance indicators and statistics on operations and inventory / equipment management, and establish corrective measures when required;
  • Plan and anticipate logistics work (including human and material resources) in collaboration with his manager (hierarchical superior);
  • Supervise and respond to the various logistics needs of the entities, including the supply, inventory management (stores) and inventory, telecommunications and transport sectors;
  • Collaborate in the establishment, maintenance and closure of various infrastructures (sites, construction sites, stores, entities);
  • Contribute to the creation of safe, secure and clean cash and working environment;
  • Supervise the preparation of orders and their shipment;
  • Ensure the good management of ALT's material resources (including inventory management) in collaboration with its manager (hierarchical superior);
  • Supervise the invoicing of deliveries to customers;
  • Support their manager (hierarchical superior) in setting up the entity;
  • Supervise and process requests for material / goods received in connection with supplies, their storage;
  • Submit and track purchase requests respecting ALT processes;
  • Supervise and set up logistics activities on the various sites / work sites, in accordance with the logistic operational procedures guide;
  • Ensure the proper management of the vehicle fleet (on video surveillance, GPS and other);
  • Ensure the quality of the services offered and compliance with the standards and procedures established at ALT;
  • Ensure and maintain harmonious links with ALT partners and suppliers;
  • Organize the storage areas in ways to make the best use of the surfaces and also, you ensure productivity in order to optimize costs;
  • Carry out adequate management and aspects of the equipment fleet related to the production of construction sites and rental equipment in order to ensure the maintenance, monitoring and improvement of equipment according to regulatory requirements;

Responsibility 2 - team supervision

  • Supervise, coach and support employees under his direct supervision;
  • Develop logistics management policies and procedures and ensure compliance with their applications in daily operations;
  • Collaborate in the preparation and facilitation of meetings;
  • With the management board;
  • Participate in the assessment and prioritization of the training and development needs of existing staff;
  • Track attendance, attendance at work, absenteeism, as well as management of replacements and vacation planning.

Responsibility 3 - emergency response

  • Be an active member of one of the disaster response teams;
  • Collaborate with members of the emergency management team to develop and implement plans to be ready to respond to an emergency;
  • Ensure the implementation and regular updating of the various components of ALT's assistance program in order to provide an appropriate response to the needs of the projects / sites / entities concerned;
  • Liaise with other assistance actors in order to promote maximum coverage of needs;
  • Ensure compliance of service provision with established standards and procedures.

Responsibility 4 - other responsibilities

  • Participate in working committees within the entities;
  • Produce the reports and analyzes required by the management board in relation to your sector of activity;
  • Provide useful suggestions in order to maintain a balanced budget;
  • All other tasks related to the position may be requested.

Desired Features

  • Perfect command of the computer tool;
  • Mastery of Word and Excel packs;
  • BACC + 3 (BTS, DUT) in Logistics and Transport or any other equivalent diploma;
  • Any other set of training and experience deemed relevant or equivalent may be considered (HR, sales);
  • Have three to five years of experience relevant to the functions of the job, particularly in logistics and supply;
  • Excellent skill and experience in creating and managing a customer database;
  • Driving license category B;
  • Have good knowledge and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and good storage practices;
  • Ability to plan work and teams;
  • Responsiveness, organization and availability;
  • Good control of machinery specific to construction.
