This position provides the control and issuance for all inventory of parts and consumables related activities within APMT Cameroun Inland Services organization. This key role is to ensure all purchased consumables are received and accounted for. The Issuance of those parts must be signed off by authorized persons. No loss must be registered due to theft, wrong reporting, poor follow up. As a member of the team, the position provides input for effective process reviews and improvements.
Also, responsible for the fuel management, the holder of this position, will have full accountability on equipment fueling and recording of consumption.
The incumbent is the link with all 3 rd party’s maintenance service provider. The parts consumption must be registered in related systems and reported timely to involved parties as per established SOPs.
Drive safe operations with visible driving force to ensure that 0 incident is recorded under area of responsibility.
Ensure safety toolboxes are attended on daily basis and the shift handovers are done.
Assist, maintain keys data and provide inventory reports for Parts, Fuel, Containers Dressing materials, Reefer Parts, Containers Repairs parts and HSSE related stock.
Ensure timely updates of systems are done.
Ensure weekly reports are pulled and checked against physical stocks.
Ensure inventory counts are done as set in SOPs.
Assist in the planning of stock renewal with Procurement.
Reports Good receipts as per SOP.
Keep a log of all goods issues and submit report as per SOP.
Work on improving the processes in a way of reducing stock of slow moving parts and eliminate waste with outdated parts.
Report deviations immediately to hierarchy
Report any issues related to Fuel theft, abuses.
Ensure all processes and guidelines are in line with APMT global standards
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Min BAC +3 in Logistics/supply chain/Accountancy
Minimum 2 or 3 years stocks experience in stock or warehouse management and storekeeping
Being 27-32 years old
CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:
Good command in English both written and spoken;
Outgoing and good communication skills;
Highly proficient in Microsoft office (especially Excel);
Good analytical skills;
Organisational and time management skills including multi-tasking, prioritizing, and the ability to plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines.
Result-oriented mindset, extensive understanding of logistics business
Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, ambition and integrity
Ordered, good working structure for execution and follow up;
Focuses and proactive, with sense of urgency.
