The Opportunity

 

We are recruiting for a Head of Sponsorship Operations to lead the Sponsorship Operations Team, providing functional leadership to the implementation and maintenance of efficient and effective sponsorship systems, policies, projects and approaches to maximise income for programme intervention whilst ensuring that Plan International’s commitments to both sponsors and Sponsore d Children are met and safeguarding, gender equality and Plan International’s’ values are embedded throughout. 

 

The Sponsorship Operations team contribute to the delivery of Plan International’s strategy by ensuring all sponsorship products promote and champion the rights of girls and young women.

 

About You

 

With deep knowledge of Sponsorship, its role in achieving Plan International’s objectives and it’s risks and challenges you will have proven experience leading the implementation and maintenance of efficient and effective sponsorship systems, policies, projects and approaches to maximise income for programme interventions.

 

An experienced leader with the ability to engage, influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation you have a proven track record of successfully implementing large projects or changes, ideally on a multi country, regional or global basis.

Location: Flexible where Plan International has a legal entity and the applicant has the pre-existing right to work and live. 

Type of Role: Permanent unless fixed term contract is dicated by the employing office. 

Reports to: Director of Sponsorship

Salary: We will be happy to disclose the salary and applicable benefits to applicants as part of this process, however, please kindly note that this will vary according to the location of the appointed candidate and therefore it is not possible to include full details here. As an indication if this role was based in the Global Hub office in the UK the salary would be circa £65000 per annum
