The head of Controlling is responsible for all aspects of operational and financial control, he/she ensures the organization a high level of control of operations by providing advice to improve them, and contributes to maximizing the added value of the business.

He/she helps the organization to achieve its objectives by evaluating, through a systematic and methodical approach, its risk management, control and corporate governance processes, and by making proposals to strengthen their effectiveness.

He / she ensures a high level of accuracy of monthly and annual reporting according to IFRS standards and management by minimizing the risk of non-recovery of credits granted to cocoa suppliers, while developing budget forecasts and monitoring them by return to real costs. He/she proposes solutions to the other departments of the company for the respect of the cost/T defined each year by the group and puts in place the tools necessary for the management of the company (dashboards, key performance indicators etc. .), just as he/she participates in the definition of the objectives of each department and in the monthly/weekly/annual follow-up of said objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Ensure development, reliability control, distribution and comments of weekly, monthly and annual performance indicators within the required deadlines;
• Ensure the management of the "risk commodity";
• Control the physical stocks and company assets;
• Control the cocoa bean purchase invoices and all bean movements;
• Monitor receivables, organize and supervise credit committees;
• Control the correct accounting allocation of expenses (analytical sections);
• Ensure the verification of the accuracy and completeness of periodic operational activity reporting statements by compiling and structuring information from the various departments;
• Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines according to the schedule;
• Control the accuracy and completeness of the IFRS income statement;
• Ensure the production of monthly analysis and control of margins on sales, purchases, yields of production and purchase flows, cocoa position, analysis of changes in the workforce with Human Resources, variations of each budget line;
• Ensure the delivery of monthly reports and comment on monthly reports (OSCO, Sustainability, Export, etc.);
• Produce analyzes and comment each week on the value created, the machining material balance, storage waste, the bean stock forecast, production yields;
• Monitor CAPEX (request, financial evaluation, authorization process, budget compliance, depreciation control);
• Ensure permanent control of expenses and consumption in order to ensure the cost leadership of the company;
• Ensure data consistency check in the management applications used, in particular from the purchase to the processing of beans, Payroll, purchase management, etc;
• Assist department heads in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and strategic plans, ensures their consistency, consolidates them for presentations;
• Ensure the updating of internal control procedures concerning the Finance Department, as well as the periodic and systematic control of operations representing risk areas;
• Produce all external reporting;
• Identify new requirements in terms of company procedures (accounting, financial, administrative, commercial-production interface, purchasing cycle, etc.);
• Carry out any profitability study and analyze requested by the Managing Director and the Finance and Administrative Manager.

About You

• Bac+ 4/5 in Finance, Controls, Financial Analysis;
• 10 years of experience in Audit, Controlling, Accounting, including at least 3 years in a similar position;
• Have a perfect mastery of financial and accounting analyses;
• Have a mastery of OHADA and IFRS accounting management;
• Perfect mastery of computer tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.);
• Good knowledge of accounting, finance, management and internal control;
• Good knowledge of SAP and SAGE accounting tools;
• Be result-oriented, customer-oriented;
• Cost oriented;
• Good Knowledge of P&L;
• Fluency in French and English;
• Know how to resist stress;
• Be rigorous, methodical, curious and autonomous;
• Be a good communicator;
• Analytical thinking;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Good leadership and management skills;
• Have a good attitude, respect for values and ethics;
• Be an effective business partner.
