Role Profile 

ZSL is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to support on finance, administration and logistical activities across the ZSL Cameroon programme in the TRIDOM and Douala Edea Landscapes. The Finance Officer will work directly under the Finance and Administration Manager and in coordination with the Operations Officer in all aspects of procurement, finance and operational tasks of the ZSL Cameroon Programme. This position will be expected to have: in-depth understanding of QuickBooks; conduct proper procurement in line with ZSL and donor policies; provide support to all administrative and accounting needs; management of petty cash daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation; ensure supporting financial documentation is in line with ZSL and donor policies and archived systematically; and have an understanding of donor and organisational audits.    

Please note: This is a full-time, 1 year fixed-term contract, based in the ZSL Country Office in Yaoundé and will require some travel to regional ZSL offices with regular visits to field offices as required. A high degree of flexibility is essential in situations where planned tasks are superseded by unscheduled events that require priority. This role may also require working some weekends.
