Description

Astellas is currently hiring a Commercial Operations and Execution Lead MEA to be based in Dubai, UAE. The role will be reporting directly into the Commercial Director MEA.

Purpose of the Position :

  • Work closely with the International Markets Customer Excellence team and MEA Commercial Director to deploy local Customer Excellence capabilities across MEA region specifically focusing on:

Digital Excellence
Customer Excellence

  • Co-ordinate the implementation of new/existing Customer Excellence capabilities to ensure process timelines are adhered to plans and Countries team are equipped with the required knowledge to roll out and utilise
  • Build and enhance digital understanding and capability of the commercial teams in the Affiliate
  • Maintain CRM, B&MI and Digital applications and responsible of the good adoption by all the users for all MEA Countries
  • Affiliate implementation of Customer Excellence and Digital Excellence initiatives aligned with International Markets
  • Working closely with the International Markets Customer Excellence team and country brand teams, recommend measurable strategies and tactics to country management to improve sales and customer experience
  • Drive commercial effectiveness within MEA (Segmentation & targeting, Cycle plans, Sales forces strategy…)
  • Drive a proactive approach to generating appropriate market feedback for Commercial Teams at country level, to drive new capabilities and digital enhancement

Requirements for the Role:

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience of driving digital marketing ideally within the pharmaceutical industry including sales force activities of several years.
  • Experience and understanding of the Veeva system
  • Experience with QLIK and QLIKSense Analytics Platform
  • Proven team management skills, including global and/or regional and/or local matrix leadership, having worked in cross functional teams.
  • Effective executor with a strategic mindset
  • Degree level qualification - life sciences, training, business
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders. Arabic and French skills would be a plus.
