Role & Responsibilities: As a business development specialist, you will: · Prospect for new business leads in Cameroon. · Propose follow-up business with existing customers. · Support AbegYa marketing and promotional activities. · Fulfill customer Requests for Information. · Attend conferences and professional networking events. · Update and maintain Airtable, Tier Boards, and other databases. · Create periodic reports on critical changes in the customer base. · Identify and implement business development process improvements. · Maintain professional and positive relationships with clients and partners. · Lead meetings or projects in collaboration with commercial development managers. · Assist management as needs arise in all business development initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: We invite candidates with the following credentials to apply: · Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, science, and equivalent experience. · Minimum four years of experience in tech-enabled services and solutions development and equivalent experience. · At least three years in business/commercial development, or equivalent experience, desired. · A basic grasp of the professional services marketplace and readiness to learn advanced topics and concepts. · A track record that demonstrates strong self-motivation and a positive attitude. · Very high interpersonal skills geared to building positive, long-lasting client relationships. · Excellent writing and presentation skills. · The ability to stay calm and resilient under pressure. · A team-oriented work ethic. · Commercial development specialists furnish key links between AbegYa and our customers.
