Position Description:

BW Group Ltd is looking for a Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to become an integral new member of our executive leadership team. This person will lead all new business development, a crucial role for BW as we expand our reach to address next-generation challenges in this digital age.

 

As the CGO you are tasked with ensuring and managing the company’s growth; through metrics like revenue, social ROIs, and employee engagement. A qualified CGO should be able to collaborate, measure, and provide c-level support with growth initiatives, all in the name of expansion and results.

 

Performs duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the maturation and execution of the business growth, business development, and sales
  • Formulate the long-term business growth strategy in collaboration with executive leadership
  • Direct and coordinate all Sales and new Business Growth with hands-on engagement throughout all business development life cycle milestones
  • Oversee capture, teaming, partnership arrangements, competitive analysis, price to win, bids, and proposals
  • Build, develop and manage the business development team capable of realizing new business bookings
  • Communicate the value proposition through technology-centric mission solutions presentations and proposals
  • Manage outward Client facing relationships and grow client portfolio
  • Deliver outstanding customer experience with results-oriented approach

 

The Chief Growth Officer must have:

  • Proven experience growing a consumer brand across any sector, such as eCommerce, media, fintech, edtech, healthtech, finance, travel, marketplaces, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure activity and drive performance
  • Comfortable in an unstructured start-up environment
  • Very strong digital acquisition experience, across all channels, with ideally broader experience across brand, partnerships, and channel marketing.
  • Great campaign management
  • Proven experience leading the growth and launch of multiple product lines or business development strategies in an entrepreneurial environment achieving demonstrated market success;
  • Demonstrated success unifying and aligning multiple, unique, yet related products or service lines under a corporate brand, advancing the value and marketability of such a branded suite of solutions or services;
  • Ability to move and inspire people to act through an articulated vision and direction;
  • Proven ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and build processes to deliver results;
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in developing and executing appropriate and effective sales and marketing presentations tailored to a variety of audiences.
