Ready for Development (RfD) is seeking passionate, dedicated, and eager individuals to make a difference in their community. We have several projects in need of your help and would greatly appreciate your valuable time and effort. Our projects cover a range of areas, including but not limited to: 1. Environmental Sustainability: Join us in promoting sustainable practices, organizing clean-up drives, and raising awareness about the importance of protecting our environment. 2. Community Outreach: Help us connect with vulnerable populations, organize charity drives, and support those in need. 3. Education and Mentorship: Volunteer your time as a tutor, mentor, or coach to empower young minds and enable them to achieve their full potential. 4. Women's Empowerment: Be a part of initiatives that promote gender equality, support women's rights, and encourage female entrepreneurship. These are just a few examples of the projects we have available. If you are passionate about any specific field or have expertise in a particular area, we will match you with a project that aligns with your interests and skills. Eligibility Applicants will not be discriminated against based on gender, religion, region of origin, socioeconomic status, disability, or sexual orientation. This recruitment is open to individuals who meet the following criteria: - Are above 18 years on or before the application deadline; - Be resident in the Center Region of Cameroon; - Available to participate in projects and capacity-building programs; - A valid means of identification (ID Card, Passport, Birth Certificate, etc.). Selection Criteria The following criteria will be used to evaluate applications: - Demonstrated passion for community development; - Ability to work cooperatively and respect opinions; - Strong interpersonal, social, and communication skills; - Sound knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, etc...). Benefits Selected volunteers will: - Gain practical skills in community development; - Connect and network with people from diverse backgrounds; - Enhance their leadership and management skills; - Receive a certificate of volunteerism and a LinkedIn recommendation; - Receive a modest stipend for internet connection.
