  • Job Title: Account Manager
  • Direction: Direction of Clientele of Individuals and Network
Place of Function:  Douala / Yaoundé
  • Status: Supervisor
  • Permanent contract
  • Publication Area: Internal / External
Missions / Responsibilities / Activities
  • Main Mission: Contribute to prospecting, building loyalty and developing a portfolio

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

The Account Manager works to achieve the following objectives:

Objective 1:
  • Research and develop resources
  • Take steps with prospects, to turn them into customers
  • Market the Bank's products (savings products, loans, securities transactions, etc.) to clients
  • Collect resources from savings and investment products
  • Participate in the recovery of overdue customer commitments
  • Participate in the design and development of new products
  • Enhance and renew the client portfolio
 Objective 2:
  • Manage a portfolio
  • Open accounts and monitor them
  • Improve the customer experience by animating and developing commercial relationships with customers
  • Offer solutions adapted to customers' needs, by analyzing their resources, expectations and projects, in compliance with the bank's commercial policy
  • Investigate credit applications from customers
  • Proceed with the assembly of credit files after assessment
  • Report questionable transactions by controlling the various movements in the accounts of his portfolio 
Skills / Requirements / Qualities

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bac +4/5 in Banking, Finance, Commerce and any other similar discipline.
  • Minimum experience of 03 years in the management of a client portfolio, preferably in the banking sector.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

Know
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis
  • Good knowledge of banking products
Expertise
  • Mastery of banking techniques
  • Mastery of commercial negotiation techniques
  • Good writing skills
  • Proficiency in office automation applications (Microsoft PowerPoint - Excel - Word)

skills Integrity / probity 
  • Relational ease / listening skills
  • Organization / method / rigor
  • Analysis / synthesis Bilingualism (English-French) would be an asset.
Candidate profile
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Years of experience: Between 3 years and 5 years
  • Minimum Academic Level: Master
